Came here for happy hour, which is 2-5pm on weekdays, and it was a great time! There werent' many people, and we were seated immediately, and the service was amazing, I felt taken care of throughout my time here. Most of the happy hour menu is an assortment of their regular menu but at prices that are around half off more or less. I also had a coffee tini which was strong, in both alcohol and coffee. Seafood ceviche was one of my favorites, as normally I think standard ceviche has too much acid and sourness with lemon and lime and tomatoes, but this one is sweeter, spicier, a good combo of coconut and mango with the seafood. Shrimp garlic noodles were also solid, I loved the smoky charred flavor of the shrimp. The big chunks of garlic add a lot of flavor as well, though more chopped garlic may add even more. Same with the beef belly banh mi chao. This one was surprisingly my least favorite one; I was not a fan of the sliced tomatoes and didn't feel as creative as the other dishes, but the beef was still cooked well and flavorful. Finally the shrimp toast was very good as well, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tastes so good with the sweet honey mayo. I would definitely come back again in the future.
so delicious!!! at first, i thought the portions were on the smaller side, but ended up being very filling in the end! i had the salted crab salted egg yolk pasta and it was really good. they give a generous amount of crab and the noodles are soft and perfectly chewy. i'd recommend this spot :)
We went here for a birthday celebration and it was amazing. We couldn't ask for a better server, her name was Zy and she did a perfect job! The food here came out faster than I expected so that was a plus. We also ordered a Ceviche which isn't pictured but was so delicious too. We also got complimentary ice cream (not pictured) because we had 2 birthdays! The vibe was super chill and we didn't feel rushed at all. Zy checked on us multiple times and made sure we were set. I'm definitely recommending this spot! I got the Thai Princess and that's my new favorite drink!!! SO tasty The garlic noodles were delightful and filling.
I decided to try this place randomly for dinner with my friend and OMG! I was not disappointed. I did make reservations ahead of time as this place gets packed. There was plenty of free parking available in the lot. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious with indoor, outdoor, and a few bar seats available. The service was great! Our server gave great recommendations and knew the menu in detail. The food was amazing! Food and drink menu: Thai green tea: (5/5) This was my first time trying this and it was delicious! The foam caught me off guard initially but I really enjoyed it. Not a good idea to drink this late in the day if you're sensitive to caffeine like me. Chicken wings: (5/5) Some of the best chicken wings I've had in a while. The texture, crispiness, and juiciness of the chicken were amazing. I could've eaten the entire bowl! Garlic noodles: (3/5) These were decent, we couldn't gone without them. The noodles have a little kick to them and come with yummy roasted garlic! Pork tomahawk: (5/5) We ordered this with a wrap set, which I definitely recommend. The pork was so tender and juicy. It has so much flavor! Wrapping it with the mint leaves and the noodles were soooo yummy! Definitely a huge portion (there were 2 of us and we had more than half of it to take home.
Another awesome culinary experience, thanks to our foodie friend's recommendation. Her family's noon arrival secured us a table for 13 by 12:40pm outside, under the awning. Between our 3 families, we were able to try almost all of Nep's signature dishes, but the stand-out favorites include: Xoi Chien - individually fried blocks of sticky rice holding up layers of protein, including a blanket of runny fried egg. So much texture! Beef Noodles - In honor of Nep's fusion concept, I'd categorize this dish as Chi-talian. Calamari Dipping Sauce - The rings of calamari were lightly battered and still very crispy to the last piece, but the real star of this appetizer was the dipping sauce. It bursted with red spiciness, kaffirs citrus flavors, and something creamy, maybe buttermilk? IDK but I could've used a couple more ramekins to pour over the extra sticky rice. Their menu changes, so while we were bummed to miss the Avocado Coffee, we were not disappointed with the Ube and Sea Salt Coffees. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
AMAZING filet mignon (bahn mi chao)!!! The best, most tender I've ever had. Super flavorful too. I got the meat at medium. Came with a big bread roll. So fresh and soft. $25 Came here on a Sunday night. Waited about 15 min to get seated. They have great aesthetics inside and out. Lots of seating. Dogs allowed for outdoor seating! They have a QR code to the menu. Their service is super quick. We didn't have to wait to long to get our orders. Got the matcha cloud latte since they didn't have the Wild Berry latte on their dinner menu. The matcha was on point! Very rich, not bitter, super creamy but not oily. The only downside side is that it's half ice... (like most places nowadays). $7 They brought the device to our table to pay for the check which is very convenient. Need to go back!!
I've been here before but, wanted to make a reservation just in case. It wasn't busy at 5:30PM on a Sunday and the staff greeted me and quickly sat me down. We ordered the Shrimp & Mango Salad, the dressing tasted like kewpie mayo but I liked it with the crunch of fried onions and crispy cabbage. The veggies here are always fresh and crunchy - never disappoint! The wontons were new - tasted like they added curry to this. The shaking beef was tender and marinated very well with the balance of ketchup rice. The tom yum noodles are a favorite with the big shrimps, packed with tons of flavor! Will be back for brunch next time!
Delicious food and a modern ambiance. Vietnamese dishes but elevated with a modern twist. My favorite was the crab toast but the salted egg pasta with shrimp and the chicken were both delicious as well. The egg coffee was creamy and smooth and sweet. A bit like a liquid creme brulee. They have so many delicious looking dishes on the menu, I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Service was also prompt and efficient. Our server was able to provide great recommendations which I appreciate. We had a reservation which is ideal if you come on the weekend. There was ample parking, no issues.
I came here with my boyfriend about 2 years ago, and we loved it so much that we came back during our recent trip - and brought the rest of my family to join us for brunch! We had reservations both times, which is what I would recommend for this popular spot. The service at both visits were excellent. Super friendly and attentive. At our first visit, we ordered the Banh Mi Chao and Bone Marrow Pasta. While the portions were on the smaller side, the flavors were excellent. The tender beef, acidity of the juicy tomatoes, and thick runny egg made for an excellent bite when paired up with the bread. I recall the Bone Marrow Pasta was creamy and delicious, but preferred the Banh Mi Chao as it was more flavorful. During our recent visit, we got to try more dishes with our bigger group. The salted egg yolk pasta was very tasty and creamy, and the noodles had an excellent bite. The Banana Foster Bread Pudding was executed very well. While it was on the sweeter side, I really enjoyed the contrast of textures - from the caramelized banana, to the smooth and custardy bread pudding, and cold ice cream. Overall, this is one of our favorite places to visit when we're in town, and we can't wait to be back!
Every Kei Concepts restaurant I've been to have screamed "Instagram" and "aesthetic". The food is good, but I've always felt they've valued looks over taste. Portions are generous so keep that in mind when ordering a lot. Food: Shrimp toast - good. I think the sauce is what actually makes it because it is quite literally mashed up shrimp in toast. Banh mi - it's a deconstruction banh mi concept. It's messy, but hearty. I couldn't eat it because I don't eat beef and every option was a beef one, but my friends enjoyed it. Fried rice - my best friend's choice. He wanted something safe and get what he asked for. Again good, but nothing too crazy. If you like fried rice with a lot of vegetables, this isn't for you. It only came with green onions (my best friend hates vegetables so he loved this). Salted egg yolk pasta - I've had salted egg yolk chips and these taste exactly like that. I'm not a huge fan of those chips because the grainy flavor so I ended up feeling similarly about the pasta. I took my friend's left over garlic cloves from her banh mi and mashed it into the pasta for more flavor. It's a tad bland and would've benefited from some other spices. Coconut ube coffee - love love love Banana foster bread pudding - everyone was blown away by this. It's more like a cake with all the full flavors of a banana bread pudding. Banana is caramelized and the ice cream is a great compliment. The cake is very sweet and I'm glad we shared it. Ice cream wasn't as sweet hence it helped balance it out. Enjoyable atmosphere and a menu that has something for everyone. I wasn't terribly impressed by the food, but overall it was good and I wouldn't rate any dish as bad. I do also credit them for generous portions. Great spot for a morning brunch date or catching up with friends/family.
